History: The route 175A began on the 16th June 1973, and provided a Monday to Saturday service between Ongar to Romford Station. The route was operated at North Street Garage (NS) by RT type buses. The route was introduced as this replaced part of
route 175. The current PVR was Monday to Saturday 1RT. On the 8th January 1977 the route was withdrawn and replaced by a new route called the 247B.
