Former London Bus Route 29B (1962-1968) - Turnpike Lane Station - Wood Green - Palmers Green - Southgate - Cockfosters - Hadley Woods - Potters Bar - Mutton Lane - Potters Bar.
Last Operated By London Transport.

History:

The route 29B began on the 10th October 1962 and provided a Monday to Friday service between Turnpike Lane Station and Potters Bar Cranbourne Road but was extended to Cranbourne Road Industrial Estate Monday to Friday Peaks. The changeover point was at Potters Bar. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 4RT.

On the 21st November 1962 the 29B was joint with route 29 so the buses came from the 29, which were still the RT type. On the 7th September 1968 the 29B was withdrawn and renumbered 298A.
