The current PVR was 9RT Monday to Friday, Saturday 7RT and Sunday 4RT. In May 1956 the 130A was extended from Croydon to Thornton Heath and the PVR for Sunday was increased to 7RT. In October 1957 there were a few changes to the routing of the 130A, THORNTON HEATH - NEW ADDINGTON Salcot Crescent (Sat/Sun) - Vulcan Way (MF) Alternate journeys via Gascoigne Road or King Henrys Drive. Vulcan Way journeys introduced, the PVR for Monday to Friday was now 10RT, Saturday and Sunday 7RT.

By the end of January 1964 the route was withdrawn Monday to Friday. This was replaced by a new route the 130B. The current route for the 130A was Thornton Heath to New Addington. The current PVR for Saturday and Sunday was 7RT. By September Routemasters were introduced on the 130A. On the 23rd January 1966 a TH allocation was put in place, for Sundays but this was operated by RT’s and Saturday RM’s from TC. The current PVR was 7RM from TC Saturdays and Sundays 5RT from TH.

By September 1967 the TH allocation was withdrawn as the Sunday service was replaced by 130C. Current PVR for Saturday was 6RML from TC. 3 years later in April 1970 the Sunday service was back in action on the 130A operated by TH again. Saturday PVR was 6RML from TC and Sunday 5RM from TH. By December 1971 TH converted there Sunday operation back to RT class buses. On the 12th May 1973 the TH allocation was withdrawn so it was just TC operating the 130A now by RML’s. The current PVR for Saturday was 6RML and Sunday 5RML.

In Early January 1974 TC converted the Sunday operation to one person operation by DMS class buses. A year later in March 1975 the Saturday service was also converted to One person operation. The current PVR was 6DMS Saturday and Sunday 5DMS. On the 28th October 1978 the 130A was withdrawn.
