History: The route 119A began on the 31st October 1970, and was operated by Bromley Garage (TB), the 119A ran from Bromley North Station to Thornton Heath (via Croydon). This route only ran on Saturdays. The 119A was operated by RT type buses; the current PVR was 10RT Saturday. On the 26th January 1975 the RT’s were being faded out of the 119A, these were replaced by Routemasters RM’s. The current PVR was 8RM/2RT Saturday. On the 2nd May 1976 the route was fully converted to RM operation with the PVR still at 10RM. The 119A was withdrawn on the 28th October 1978, and was replaced by
route 119.
