Go Ahead London: London General Past Timetables: June 2002 History: The route 507 began on the 7th September 1968 and provided a Monday to Saturday service between Waterloo Station and Victoria, via York Road, Lambeth Bridge and Horseferry Road. The route was operated at Victoria Garage GM by MBA type buses. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 7MBA and Saturday 3MBA. On the 25th October 1969 a Sunday operation was introduced, the current PVR was Monday to Friday 7MBA, Saturday 4MBA and Sunday 3MBA. On the 24th January 1970 a Sunday Walworth WL allocation was introduced, there was only a change to the Sunday PVR, 3MBA from GM and 1MBA from WL. By the 16th January 1971 the WL allocation was withdrawn, there was a slight change to PVR, Saturday and Sunday 3MBA. On the 18th September 1971 the Monday to Friday PVR was increased to 9MBA. On the 5th February 1972 the Monday to Friday PVR was increased again to 10MBA. On the 1st March 1975 the Sunday PVR was increased to 4MBA but on the 22nd April 1978 was decreased back down to 3MBA. On the 31st March 1979 the Monday to Friday PVR decreased to 9MBA. On the 9th May 1981 the route was converted to LS type operation. On the 4th September 1982 the current PVR was Monday to Friday 9LS, Saturday 4LS and Sunday 3LS.
On the 15th August 1987 the allocation was transferred to Waterloo Garage RA. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 10LS, Saturday 3LS and Sunday 2LS. On the 13th August 1988 the Sunday service was joint with
route 510. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 10LS, Saturday EX 503 LS and Sunday 8LS. On the 28th October 1989 the
510 was joint up to the 507 Sunday to Friday. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 18LS, Saturday EX
503 LS and Sunday 9LS. By the 24th February 1990 the Monday to Friday joint service with
route 510 was withdrawn, so that just left Sunday. The current PVR was Monday to Friday EX 501 LS, Saturday EX 503 LS and Sunday 9LS. On the 25th May 1991 the route was operated by Red Arrow and the joint
510 service was withdrawn. The current PVR was Monday to Friday EX 501 LS, Saturday 4LS and Sunday 3LS. On the 18th July 1992 a GB allocation was introduced, the current PVR was Monday to Friday 10LS + 1LS/521 from RA, Saturday 4SR from GB and Sunday 2SR. On the 17th July 1993 the Weekend and evening service was withdrawn. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 10GLS. On the 5th June 2002 the route was converted to low floor double deck using bendy buses. The current PVR was Monday to Friday 9MAL. The average journey time is between 12 and 20 minutes. The frequency Monday to Friday is every 5-6 minutes.
