The route Monday to Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday ran from Kew Gardens to Yeading and Monday to Friday except evenings ran a little extra from Yeading to Northolt Station (via Richmond, Twickenham, Hanworth, Feltham, Hatton Cross, Harlington and Hayes). The current PVR was Monday to Friday 11DD, Saturday 9DD and Sunday 5DD.
On the 9th November 1991 the 90 was withdrawn between Richmond and Kew Gardens which was replaced by
route 391. The route was currently run between Richmond and Northolt Station. The PVR stayed the same.
On the 11th June 1994 the 90 was diverted in the Hayes area to serve people who wanted access to Sainsbury’s.
By the 23rd August 1997 the route was transferred to Metroline and was operated from North Wembley Garage (NW). They decided to change the route around a little as the route was withdrawn between Richmond and Feltham, this section was replaced by the new
route 490. The route was also diverted to Feltham Browells Lane and Leisure West. The route was also converted to single deck operation, the current PVR was Monday to Friday 9DL, Saturday 8DL and Sunday 6DL.
On the 29th April 2006 the route was transferred to Perivale Garage, the current PVR is Monday to Saturday 17DLD and Sunday 9DLD.
